Reset Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
If you've lost access to your authenticator app or want to set up 2FA on a new device, you'll need to reset your two-factor authentication settings. This guide explains how to do that—whether you're logged in or need assistance.
Option 1: Reset 2FA While Logged In
If you can still access your account and complete 2FA, follow these steps to reset it:
-
Go to Account Settings: Click on your initials in the top-right corner
-
Select Manage Account
-
Under Password, click on Reset 2FA
-
Verify Your Identity by entering your password when prompted
-
Click Continue
-
You’ll be logged out. Log in again with your credentials
-
Use an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator) to scan the QR code
-
Enter the 6-digit code from the app
-
Save your backup code in a secure place in case you lose access in the future
Option 2: Reset 2FA Using a Recovery Code
If you can’t access your 2FA device but still have your recovery code:
-
Go to the login page and enter your username and password
-
Click on Next
-
Click Try another method
-
Select Continue
-
Input your recovery code
-
Click Continue to complete login
-
Once you're logged in, follow the steps in Option 1 to reset your 2FA
