Reset Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

If you've lost access to your authenticator app or want to set up 2FA on a new device, you'll need to reset your two-factor authentication settings. This guide explains how to do that—whether you're logged in or need assistance.

Option 1: Reset 2FA While Logged In

If you can still access your account and complete 2FA, follow these steps to reset it:

  1. Go to Account Settings: Click on your initials in the top-right corner

  2. Select Manage Account

  3. Under Password, click on Reset 2FA

  4. Verify Your Identity by entering your password when prompted

  5. Click Continue

  6. You’ll be logged out. Log in again with your credentials

  7. Use an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator) to scan the QR code

  8. Enter the 6-digit code from the app

  9. Save your backup code in a secure place in case you lose access in the future

Option 2: Reset 2FA Using a Recovery Code

If you can’t access your 2FA device but still have your recovery code:

  1. Go to the login page and enter your username and password

  2. Click on Next

  3. Click Try another method

  4. Select Continue

  5. Input your recovery code

  6. Click Continue to complete login

  7. Once you're logged in, follow the steps in Option 1 to reset your 2FA
